Floppy Bird

Flappy Bird is an iconic mobile game that became a global phenomenon in 2014. The game features a small bird that the player must navigate through a series of pipes by tapping the screen to make the bird flap its wings and fly upward. Despite its simple mechanics, the game is notoriously difficult, requiring precise timing and rhythm to achieve high scores.

The objective is to guide a bird through openings between green pipes that appear from the right side of the screen. The bird constantly falls due to gravity, and the player must tap or click to make it flap and fly upward. Each successful pass through a pipe gap earns one point. The game ends when the bird collides with a pipe or the ground. The challenge lies in the precise timing required to navigate the narrow gaps between pipes.

The controls are incredibly simple: Click or Tap anywhere on the screen to make the bird flap its wings and fly upward. The bird will automatically descend due to gravity when not tapping. The key to success is timing your taps to maintain the right altitude for passing through the pipe gaps. On desktop, you can also press the Spacebar or Up Arrow key to make the bird flap.
